About Our Business
I hatch chicks year round and raise juvenile and adult birds for sale out of these chicks. I sell
birds from day old to adult so should be able to fit your needs with some of the birds in stock. I
raise all of my birds and do not trade in birds so my inventories are changing daily so may or
may not have birds desired on inventory. I hatch chicks on special order as well but I cannot
hatch very large numbers and may have to set several sets of eggs to meet the desired
number. I am developing several crosses for increased egg production, increased growth rate
and meat production and for ease of separating the males from females at one day of age.
Give me a call and I will do my best to meet your desired needs for poultry.

About Us
With increased feed prices it takes around $7.00 to get a chicken
to 5 months of age. The average cost of hatching or acquiring a
chick is $1.40 and they will eat 17 to 18 pounds of feed by 5
months. I will be selling pullets in the spring but the price will go
up in 2012. This last year was a good year with over 6000 birds
sold but the price of those birds did not leave any funds for labor
or profit. There is labor involved as well as some margin of profit
it needed to maintain this business. New prices will be posted as
soon as they can be computed from grain future prices and the
cost of labor is imputed for 2012. Thanks for your business and
continued support.
